Shipping Policy

1. Overview

At Oceanic Organic Ltd, we aim to deliver your order as quickly and safely as possible. This Shipping Policy explains everything you need to know about how we process, dispatch, and deliver your orders.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

We offer the following shipping options for all UK orders:

All delivery times are estimates and are calculated from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Delivery times may vary during busy periods such as Bank Holidays or peak seasons.

3. Free Shipping

We are pleased to offer FREE standard UK shipping on all orders of £20 or more. The free shipping threshold is calculated on your order subtotal before any discounts or promotional codes are applied.

  • Free shipping applies to standard delivery only
  • Express delivery is always charged at £6.99 regardless of order value
  • Free shipping is available to mainland UK addresses only

4. Order Processing

4.1 Processing Times

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (UK time), excluding Bank Holidays. Orders placed after 2pm or on weekends will be processed the next working day.

  • Same-day dispatch: Orders placed before 2pm on working days
  • Next-day dispatch: Orders placed after 2pm or at weekends

4.2 Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. When your order is dispatched, you will receive a second email with your tracking information (where available).

4.3 Busy Periods

During peak periods (e.g. spring/summer growing season, Bank Holidays), processing times may be extended by 1–2 working days. We will always endeavour to keep you informed of any delays.

5. Delivery Area

5.1 UK Mainland

We currently ship to all mainland UK addresses including England, Scotland, and Wales.

5.2 Remote Areas

Delivery to some remote areas of Scotland, Scottish Highlands, and Islands may take additional time and could incur additional charges. We will contact you if this applies to your order.

  • Scottish Highlands & Islands: Add 2–3 working days
  • Northern Ireland: Please contact us before ordering
  • Channel Islands & Isle of Man: Please contact us before ordering

5.3 International Shipping

We do not currently offer international shipping. We ship within the United Kingdom only. Please check back in the future as we may expand our delivery options.

6. Tracking Your Order

Where available, we will provide a tracking number in your dispatch confirmation email. You can use this to track your order directly with the courier.

  • Standard delivery may not always include tracking
  • Express delivery includes full tracking
  • Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after dispatch

If you have not received a tracking number or your tracking shows no updates after 48 hours, please contact us at hq@oceanicorganic.co.uk.

7. Packaging

We take great care in packaging our products to ensure they arrive safely. As an organic and eco-conscious brand, we are committed to using sustainable packaging wherever possible:

  • Recyclable outer boxes and packaging materials
  • Minimal plastic use in line with our sustainability values
  • Secure packaging to prevent leakage of liquid fertiliser products

If your order arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging, please contact us immediately with photos and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

8. Failed Deliveries & Missed Parcels

8.1 If You Are Not Home

If you are not available at the time of delivery, our courier will typically:

  • Leave your parcel in a safe place if instructed
  • Leave a card with instructions to rearrange delivery or collect from a local depot
  • Attempt redelivery on the next working day

8.2 Uncollected Parcels

If your parcel is returned to us due to an unsuccessful delivery or non-collection, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. A redelivery charge may apply. If we are unable to reach you within 14 days, your order will be refunded minus the original shipping cost.

8.3 Incorrect Address

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of ordering. We are unable to redirect parcels once they have been dispatched. If an incorrect address is provided, we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery and a redelivery charge may apply.

9. Lost or Damaged Orders

9.1 Lost Orders

If your order has not arrived within 7 working days of your expected delivery date, please contact us at hq@oceanicorganic.co.uk. We will investigate with our courier and, if confirmed lost, arrange a replacement or full refund.

9.2 Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, please:

  • Take photos of the damaged packaging and product immediately
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hq@oceanicorganic.co.uk
  • Include your order number and photos in your email

We will arrange a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible.

10. Bank Holidays & Seasonal Delays

We do not dispatch orders on UK Bank Holidays. During the following periods, please allow additional time for delivery:

  • Easter: Add 2–3 working days
  • Spring/Summer growing season (April–July): High demand may cause 1–2 day delays
  • Christmas & New Year: Add 3–5 working days

We recommend placing orders well in advance during these periods.
